It has been my pleasure serving clients in the mental health field for over the past 19 years. I graduated from Seton Hill University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in both Psychology and Sociology. I decided to further my education by attending Seton Hill University to complete a Master of Arts Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Throughout my education, I received extensive training on human behavioral patterns and systemic thinking. I have expertise in providing individual, family, couples, and marriage counseling.
I specialize in working with clients impacted by Depression, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, defiance, anger issues, educational concerns, and Adjustment Disorders. In addition, I have a particular interest in areas including family relational issues, blended families, trauma, divorce, and co-parenting; however, I am not limited to these specialty areas. I have served my clients in various roles including a Behavioral Specialist Consultant, Outpatient Counselor, Clinical Evaluator, and Clinical Director.
I feel that the most crucial component of treatment is building a positive rapport with my clients and tailoring techniques/strategies to meet their needs. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral, Solution Based, Structural, and Person-Centered Therapy Models.
I look forward to collaborating and assisting you through your personal growth journey. "We fall, we break, and we fail." But then we rise, we heal, and we overcome." Outside of work, I enjoy running marathons, biking, yoga, and volunteering in the community. I also have a fondness for traveling and spending time with my family, friends, and 4-legged best friend, Ellie
